Adding users to a Microsoft Team

To add team members to a Microsoft Team you can follow these steps.

First find the team you wish to add members and expand it.

You can expand it by clicking on the name of the team and you should then see subsequent channels appear underneath the name, if there are no other channels then General will be the only option here. This just ensures we have the correct team selected.

When you move your mouse beside near to where the red box is in the below screenshot and click the 3 dots.

When you click on the 3 dots a box will appear and you have an option to add members as shown below

Once you click Add member you can type the person’s name or email and click “Send request” and they should be added to the team now.
