How to Reset Your Security Question Salesforce

Resetting your Salesforce Security Question

If you have forgotten the answer to your security question and required a Salesforce Administrator to send you a reset password link then this guide will explain how to update your answer.
First you need to log into Salesforce on the Desktop version for PC/Laptop, when you log in you should be at the Sales Console where you will need to select your profile picture in the top right hand corner of the screen. (Number 1 in the Picture.)

Once clicked this will display a small dropdown where you will need to select “Settings” highlighted and number 2 on the next screenshot.

After you click settings you will be brought to the Setup Page on your personal Profile. On the left hand side ribbon there will be several option to chose from but you need to select “Change My Password” highlighted and number 3 in the next screenshot.

After clicking this you will be brought to the “Change My Password” Screen. Here following the steps 4,5 & 6 you will first need to enter your password (option 4 on the screenshot below)
Next Select whether or not you wish to update your security question or leave it the same.
Enter the answer to the question highlighted and indicated by the arrow and number 5 on the following screenshot.
Finally click “Save” highlighted and indicated by the arrow and number 6 on the below screenshot.
